Email updates

If you sign up, your email address and any name you provide are sent to Mailchimp to manage show updates. The form includes a hidden field to help reject automated spam. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email or contact us at hello@aliensintheclouds.com about your subscription or information.

Website analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to understand page visits and actions such as opening YouTube, choosing a podcast platform or interacting with an embedded episode. Google Analytics may use cookies and collect technical information about your visit. Names and email addresses entered in the signup form are not included in our custom analytics events.

Players and external services

Episode pages can load embedded YouTube or Libsyn players. These services receive connection information when their content loads and apply their own privacy practices. Links to YouTube, podcast apps, Discord, Patreon and the store take you to those services.
